CritterStones are small stone memorials for animals.  Each CritterStone is hand-inked with love in Massachusetts by Peter McCarthy Studio, with the name and design pattern you specify.

Spiritually aware of the interconnectedness between humans, animals and the Earth, Peter understands the strong bonds that develop between humans and animals.  He created his first animal memorial, from wood, for a family cat in the early 1990s.  He later began crafting small memorial stones for family and friends when animal companions passed away.  The concept for CritterStones developed from those early memorials that he created and gifted to people he knew.

Using clean, high quality, natural stone, Peter lays out the design of your CritterStone using a combination of stencils, art and drafting instruments, and freehand techniques. He then slowly illustrates the stone by hand, allowing the ink to bleed into the stone. After the ink has dried, the finished stone is packaged with recycled materials and shipped to you for arrival within three weeks of the date you place your order.

Peter McCarthy Studio is a vegan-owned, sustainability-focused business.  The stone used for CritterStones is domestically sourced in the United States for a reduced carbon footprint.
